Student Artwork

3rd Grade Class Project. “Does Splatter Matter” Ode To Jackson Pollock.  This amazing 40” x 40” canvas collage was painted by Lake Tahoe School’s third grade students in March 2011. Comprising of twenty canvases, each of which was painted by one of our third grade students, this piece took three weeks of regular art classes to complete. Each canvas was numbered and then every student did a final “splatter” over the entire collection to bring cohesiveness to the work.  This is a piece of work that could stand on its own in any art show! “The painting has a life of its own.” Jackson Pollock
